Industrial Hygiene Supervisor

Location: Hybrid in Salem, Oregon, United States

Salary: $122,043–$143,580 annually; full salary range $107,685–$179,475.

What you will do

• Supervise industrial hygiene operations, service delivery, workload allocation, productivity, quality, and customer outcomes.
• Lead, coach, hire, onboard, develop, and manage technical professionals with varied backgrounds and skill levels.
• Oversee industrial hygiene evaluations, occupational disease investigations, exposure assessments, technical reports, and practical control recommendations.
• Develop and continuously improve industrial hygiene best practices while serving as the division’s central subject-matter contact.
• Manage outsourced laboratory and consulting services, operational reporting, and the team budget.
• Provide expert consultation to internal stakeholders and legal counsel, including expert testimony when required.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of progressively responsible industrial hygiene experience, including leading and coaching employees.
• Experience delivering industrial hygiene services across diverse workplaces and environmental and occupational hazards.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene or a related science.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required; a master’s degree in industrial hygiene may substitute initially if CIH certification is obtained within one year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record; ability to drive a hirify.global or personal vehicle for work.
