TL;DR
Quality Assurance Manager (Electronic Security Systems): Leading quality assurance, safety, productivity, and process compliance for electronic security system installation projects with an accent on field operations, technical standards, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on resolving site issues, conducting QAQC reviews, verifying commissioning readiness, and mentoring installation and project staff.

Location: Sterling, Virginia, USA; onsite work with travel up to 25% required

What you will do

  • Lead quality assurance, safety, quality control, ISO fulfillment, and installation process compliance for electronic security system projects.
  • Train staff on installation standards, safety equipment, fall protection, and hirify.global Academy activities.
  • Act as the first escalation point for field issues, integration problems, customer concerns, and onsite implementation decisions.
  • Conduct monthly QAQC reporting, follow up on outstanding deliverables, and verify site preparedness and commissioning readiness.
  • Support site surveys, sales activities, materials coordination, subcontractor oversight, and project execution within budget constraints.
  • Mentor team members, support growth plans, resolve conflicts, and improve processes across the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction trades and settings and at least 3 years of experience with electronic security systems.
  • Leadership, planning, labor management, conflict resolution, documentation management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel and Word, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and ability to climb ladders, work from elevated platforms, and lift 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work onsite in Sterling, Virginia, and travel up to 25% of the time.
