Application Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Guide customers through loan applications from start to finish.
• Handle 100+ inbound and outbound customer interactions per day while following call guidelines.
• Request and review financial and identity documents during final application review.
• Identify and escalate suspicious or fraudulent documents and applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, assist with product navigation, and answer product questions.
• De-escalate high-stress interactions and meet production, quality, CSAT, and FCR goals.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accurate financial calculations and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, empathy, and customer-focused de-escalation skills.
• Meticulous document review skills, integrity, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Sheets, and Docs.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• Previous contact center experience.
