Senior Systems Analyst

Location: Remote, based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

What you will do

• Design and deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, model, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform technical assessments and ensure solution quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout projects and maintain clear progress communication.
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, implementation, and post-implementation activities within an Agile framework.
• Improve systems and processes through architecture enhancements, re-engineering, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in systems analysis or a related field.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, data modeling, data mapping, transformation documentation, and testable user stories.
• Understanding of relational databases, SQL, Python for querying and validation, data analysis tools, microservices, distributed systems, and ETL processes.
• Ability to interpret system architecture diagrams and technical specifications, with basic knowledge of GitHub or other version control systems.
• Experience with project management software such as Jira and strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and delivery management.
• Understanding of secure data handling, including sensitive financial data and personally identifiable information.

Nice to have

• Experience in the insurance or financial industry.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
