Location: Remote, but must live in the Washington D.C. area

What you will do
- Own the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from proposal support and negotiation through administration and closeout.
- Lead negotiations, modifications, amendments, teaming arrangements, and subcontract agreements.
- Monitor contract performance, conduct risk assessments, resolve discrepancies, and advise leadership on contractual, financial, operational, and performance risks.
- Build scalable contracting policies, procedures, governance structures, decision frameworks, performance metrics, and executive reporting.
- Serve as the primary interface with federal contracting officers, agencies, prime contractors, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
- Develop training and support long-term strategies to improve the company’s ability to compete for prime federal contracts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of government contracts experience in aerospace, defense, or a comparable regulated industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in contract administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Working command of the FAR, DFARS, and NASA FAR Supplement.
- Experience with multiple contract types, including FFP, CPFF, CPIF, IDIQ, and OTA.
- Demonstrated negotiation experience with government customers or prime contractors.
- Must live in the Washington D.C. area.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Experience with NASA acquisition, CLPS, commercial services contracts, or firm-fixed-price milestone-based space vehicle contracts.
- Familiarity with OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and Space Act Agreements.
- NCMA certification or a JD.
- Export control, cross-border affiliate, security clearance, or first-major-prime-award experience.
