TL;DR
Contracts Administrator (Defense/Nuclear): Administering government and commercial contracts for defense and commercial nuclear products with an accent on contract compliance, negotiations, proposal development, and pricing analysis. Focus on interpreting regulations, leading complex proposals, developing negotiation strategies, and supporting audits and customer relationships.

Location: Cheswick, Pennsylvania, United States. Hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day or a 9/80 schedule. Must be a sole U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Salary: $76,200–$127,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Administer assigned government and commercial contracts, including contract changes and required documentation.
  • Review contractual documents for compliance with company policies, government specifications, master agreements, and corporate contract principles.
  • Analyze material, equipment, and production cost estimates and develop pricing proposals.
  • Lead proposal development, data compilation, customer responses, and negotiation strategy with management.
  • Conduct internal and external compliance audits and interpret regulations related to contracts.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact, lead internal functional discussions, and support onboarding and process improvements for less experienced contracts professionals.

Requirements

  • Sole U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of applicable contract experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple opportunities under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to understand ERP contract inputs and their relationships with other modules.

Nice to have

  • Government or commercial nuclear contracts experience.
  • Contract negotiation experience.
