Senior QC Engineer (Software Testing)

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote/office work options are stated.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures, plans, standards, and KPIs.
• Define and manage test strategies, plans, campaigns, execution, results, and reporting.
• Conduct quality audits, process reviews, assessments, and metric analysis across the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing of workflow-based systems and integrations with external systems.
• Analyze defects, quality trends, risks, and root causes to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Support testing teams and communicate quality status, risks, recommendations, and executive-level reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong experience in information systems quality assurance and quality control.
• Experience defining QA procedures, test strategies, test plans, quality standards, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Knowledge of Selenium, Postman, Jira, test management tools, defect tracking tools, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts and tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or CMMI, Agile development, workflow-based systems, external integrations, and testing team coordination.
• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification and professional English communication skills are required.
