Construction Rigger (AI Data Centers)

Location: Southaven, Mississippi, and Memphis, Tennessee; full-time onsite with extensive travel to data center construction sites

What you will do

• Plan and execute lifts using mobile and tower cranes, forklifts, gantries, tuggers, chain falls, come-alongs, and other hoisting equipment.
• Inspect and install slings, shackles, spreader bars, and below-the-hook devices while confirming working load limits, hitch types, and sling angles.
• Signal crane and forklift operators, coordinate lift-team communication, and establish exclusion zones.
• Crib, block, roll, and land pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, skids, pipe racks, modules, and other mechanical equipment.
• Support lift sketches, load paths, field changes, material staging, rigging inventory, and construction-site organization.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, lift-permit, and site rules; report damaged gear, unsafe conditions, and near misses; support punch-list work through turnover.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industrial or commercial construction rigging experience, a recognized rigger or ironworker apprenticeship, or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in changing industrial construction environments, including standing and walking for a full shift and wearing PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends during critical construction periods.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment and read plans, lift sketches, and equipment arrangement drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Ability to travel extensively and remain onsite at data center construction sites during peak construction phases.

Nice to have

• NCCCO Rigger Level I or II, qualified signal person, forklift, aerial lift, or scissor lift certification.
• OSHA 10 or equivalent training.
• Experience with data center, industrial, or heavy-civil construction sites.
• Familiarity with load charts, pick planning, and mechanical equipment sets.
