Salary: $45,500–$54,400 per year

What you will do

  • Coordinate scheduling and rescheduling for new patients, including appointments with multiple care providers.
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and referral requests while providing program-specific information.
  • Complete patient intake, collect clinical information, and route or escalate requests according to guidelines.
  • Arrange medical records, tissue receipt, appointment packets, materials, insurance referrals, and patient portal enrollment.
  • Recognize emergencies, follow telephone triage procedures, and support continuity of clinical care.
  • Collaborate with the New Patient Coordinator team to maintain coverage, task management, service levels, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Up to 1 year of experience in healthcare and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and real-time problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to learn and implement new concepts and process changes quickly.
  • PC proficiency and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration or a related field is strongly preferred.
