Salary: $55.00–$68.16 per hour, based on full-time equivalent

What you will do
- Review, interpret, approve, prepare, compound, label, and dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor medication therapies, identify allergies, interactions, duplications, dosing issues, and other medication-related risks.
- Provide drug information and medication education to patients, families, physicians, nurses, students, interns, and residents.
- Conduct medication histories, reconciliation, discharge medication reviews, optimization consultations, and selected home visits.
- Enter clinical and charging information into the pharmacy computer system and maintain accurate electronic medication records.
- Support pharmacy operations, quality programs, medication-use evaluations, clinical protocols, and weekend, evening, night, holiday, and on-call coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Current pharmacist license required.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, clinical best practices, medication safety, and controlled-drug inventory management.
- Experience with electronic medical records and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, prioritize critical issues, and maintain patient confidentiality.

- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
