SAP MM - Inventory Management Consultant (Canada)

Location: Remote within Canada; candidate must be located in Winnipeg, Canada. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is required for the Controlled Goods Program.

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP MM, procurement, inventory management, and goods movement processes.
• Analyze production incidents, service requests, and defects; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions within established SLAs.
• Configure and maintain SAP MM functionality, including purchasing, vendor master data, release strategies, pricing, and approval workflows.
• Support inventory activities including goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers, physical inventory, cycle counting, batch management, reservations, and reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot integrations with SAP EWM/WM, SD, PP, QM, and FI/CO, coordinating with technical teams on interface issues.
• Gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, support testing and minor enhancements, and maintain documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP MM functional experience, including strong SAP Inventory Management experience.
• Hands-on experience with procurement, inventory management, goods movements, and SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience supporting production environments in an AMS or managed services organization.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO, and warehouse management solutions.
• Must be located in Winnipeg, Canada, authorized to work in Canada, and hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• SAP EWM or SAP WM support experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumer products, aerospace, or logistics.
• SAP MM certification and knowledge of ITIL support processes.
• Experience with global support environments and on-call rotations.
