PRN MA - South Central PA

Location: Rocket Wellness Center, South Central Pennsylvania; onsite clinic role

Salary: $22.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, collect health updates, take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Manage front-desk workflows including scheduling, check-in, check-out, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Record accurate patient data, process test results, and communicate results through approved channels.
• Support patient outreach and collaborate with the care team on individualized care plans and gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Ability to work onsite at the Rocket Wellness Center in South Central Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
