TL;DR
Strategy Analyst (Automotive): Developing market intelligence, competitive analysis, financial models, and strategic business cases for global growth across the automotive and mobility landscape with an accent on market attractiveness, investment evaluation, and emerging technologies. Focus on translating complex datasets into executive recommendations, analyzing electrification and autonomous driving trends, and supporting profitable strategic growth.
Location: Southfield, Michigan, United States. This is an onsite, full-time role. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

What you will do
- Analyze automotive market, customer, and industry data to identify trends, growth opportunities, market attractiveness, and strategic implications.
- Monitor competitor products, technology developments, partnerships, financial performance, and market positioning.
- Build financial models for market sizing, forecasting, profitability analysis, cost-benefit assessments, investment evaluations, and business cases.
- Transform internal and external datasets into actionable insights through quantitative analysis, dashboards, and performance reporting.
- Prepare executive presentations, reports, visualizations, and recommendations for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Research automotive and mobility trends, including electrification, autonomous driving, connected vehicles, and software-defined vehicles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, business analytics, consulting, finance, market research, or a similar analytical role.
- Experience with market analysis, competitive intelligence, financial modeling, and business case development.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.

- MBA.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics and visualization tools.
- Automotive, mobility, manufacturing, or technology industry experience.
