Phlebotomist

Location: Madisonville, Kentucky, United States; travel to patients’ homes throughout the assigned service area is required.

What you will do

• Travel to patients’ homes and provide blood draws, vital measurements, height and weight assessments, urine collection, and support with Annual Wellness Visits.
• Use phlebotomy expertise to perform comfortable and reliable blood draws, including challenging sticks.
• Create a professional, empathetic patient experience in diverse home environments.
• Document visits using mobile technology and electronic health records.
• Label, handle, and transport specimens for laboratory drop-off or shipment.
• Independently manage schedules, supplies, driving, and patient appointments throughout the day.

Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy skills and experience with challenging blood draws.
• Patient-facing healthcare experience as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, LPN, or LVN; home healthcare experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification and ability to meet applicable state-specific certification or licensing requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle are required.
• Availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., including the ability to drive before 7:00 a.m.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., drive for prolonged periods, and safely navigate stairs and varied patient home environments.
