TL;DR
Sr Supervisor, Production (Aerospace): Leading avionics and electrical assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting for autonomous aircraft hardware with an accent on technician development, production readiness, and configuration-controlled manufacturing. Location: Dallas, Texas; on-site. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required.

Salary: $92,000–$130,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

  • Lead technicians performing avionics and electrical assembly, installation, integration, functional testing, troubleshooting, rework, and inspection support.
  • Assign work, prioritize workloads, coach and train technicians, provide performance feedback, and develop daily and weekly operating plans.
  • Maintain safe, controlled manufacturing and integration environments covering workmanship, ESD/FOD prevention, calibration, tool control, traceability, quality, and configuration management.
  • Guide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across wiring, electronics, sensors, power systems, and data interfaces.
  • Lead production readiness for prototype, developmental, pre-production, and first-article aircraft hardware and software through flight-ready delivery.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Production Planning to close readiness gaps involving materials, tooling, fixtures, test equipment, documentation, and technician capacity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Analytics, or a related technical field; equivalent avionics or aerospace production experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience leading technicians or teams in aerospace, defense, UAS, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of avionics and electrical assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and system-level diagnostics.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, interface-control documents, bills of material, work instructions, and test procedures.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and operational leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading avionics or electrical assembly and integration teams in aerospace, defense, UAS, or complex hardware manufacturing.
  • Experience building technician capabilities and production processes from early prototypes through pre-production and first-article manufacturing.
