Software Development Engineer in Test II (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Review product requirements and design documents to create testing strategies.
• Build test plans, write test cases, and execute tests for new and existing features.
• Implement, maintain, and improve UI test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Report, track, and verify defects while monitoring automation jobs.
• Provide quality and status updates to leadership and project partners.
• Work with infrastructure teams to maintain CI test pipelines and shared services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
• At least 2 years of experience with UI automation for web or native applications.
• Experience with the software testing life cycle and version control systems.
• Experience maintaining CI systems; Jenkins is preferred.
• Experience with Selenium or Appium.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, Ember, React, React Native, or Node.
• Experience developing or testing phones, game consoles, set-top boxes, or other non-PC devices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and significant Python experience.
• Experience developing or writing test code for a game console.
