Model-Based Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Develop authoritative engineering models and digital architectures for defense and intelligence customers.
• Model system architectures and system behaviors using SysML and MBSE methodologies.
• Develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems.
• Analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, software developers, internal staff, external contractors, and government customers.
• Produce and present technical documentation and engineering artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SysML and proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or certifications such as OCSMP, INCOSE CSEP, or PMP.
• Knowledge of Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with DoDAF, UAF, or other architecture frameworks.
• Experience with aerospace and defense systems, modeling and simulation tools, and related processes.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
