FP&A Systems Principal Professional / Application Architect (AI/ML)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States

Base pay: $138,840–$208,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and equity plans.

What you will do

• Design and develop integrated business-unit financial planning solutions using data warehouse master data frameworks.
• Discover engineering business processes and map them to standard reporting frameworks.
• Enable scenario modeling for demand, product development, product cost, headcount, and financial planning.
• Design and tune database applications for high-performance response across thousands of daily users.
• Own and improve user-facing planning tools for business managers and financial analysts.
• Provide technical leadership, establish application development and change-control standards, and create solution documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing planning solutions for global semiconductor companies, particularly engineering project management processes.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks, database integration tools, and user-managed data capture.
• Strong knowledge of query performance tuning, enterprise data architecture, data quality management, semantic knowledge solutions, and data cataloging.
• 5+ years integrating MS Excel, Power BI, dashboards, and other analytics tools with data warehouse foundations.
• Experience with business logic externalization, identity and role management, workload-segregated schemas, and cross-application data integration.

• Experience applying AI/ML or GenAI in analytics, including AI agents.
• Experience managing junior technical staff.
