Functional Developer II (Oracle ERP Finance)

What you will do

• Design and deliver end-to-end functional solutions across Oracle Fusion Financials, including requirements, configuration, specifications, testing, documentation, and production readiness.
• Implement and modernize Oracle modules, migrate acquired businesses from legacy ERP systems, and support new finance and tax initiatives.
• Define data mappings, accounting rules, and functional requirements for REST APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, and file-based integrations.
• Build and support Oracle BI Publisher reports and data models for finance reporting, reconciliations, integrations, and operations.
• Lead functional testing, defect resolution, quarterly release impact assessments, deployments, and post-production stabilization.
• Evaluate Oracle Fusion AI, automation, and agent-based capabilities for close, reconciliation, payables, and other finance processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of enterprise ERP or financial-systems experience, including 3+ years hands-on with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Deep expertise across multiple modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Cost Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Experience translating finance and accounting requirements into configurations, functional specifications, workflows, integrations, and reports.
• Experience with ERP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, migrations, production support, and Oracle Support service requests.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing, with strong financial-controls, auditability, and segregation-of-duties practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Oracle Fusion Tax, Vertex, or other indirect-tax engine experience.
• M&A ERP integrations, financial-system consolidations, or legacy ERP migrations to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• REST APIs, FBDI, ADFdi, OTBI, Financial Reporting Center, or related Oracle integration and analytics tools.
• Experience with finance automation, three-way matching, reconciliation, cash application, landed cost, or complex accounting integrations.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification or experience in retail, e-commerce, marketplace, or other high-volume transaction environments.
