Senior Oracle Security and AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Austin, United States. Offer-stage candidates may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

What you will do

• Manage Oracle Fusion environments, including refreshes, instance cloning, usage management, and configuration baselines.
• Prepare and execute mandatory quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, including pre-update checks and post-update smoke testing.
• Own security architecture, role design governance, non-functional requirements, performance benchmarking, and configuration controls.
• Administer security across Oracle Fusion Applications, PaaS, and DBaaS; design and deploy custom roles following least-privilege and segregation-of-duties principles.
• Own Oracle Fusion Risk Management Cloud and configure Advanced Access Controls and Advanced Financial Controls to identify and mitigate financial risks, fraud, and policy violations.
• Provide Level 2/3 support, conduct root-cause analysis, and build AI-, MCP-, and Terraform-based automation for security operations and governance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical administration and support experience within the Oracle ecosystem.
• 4+ years of designing, building, and deploying custom security roles in Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Expertise managing Oracle Fusion Cloud environments, including ERP, GTM, EPM, environment refreshes, and cloning.
• Deep technical familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, Oracle Fusion Risk Management Cloud, role design governance, and cloud ERP performance management.
• Strong understanding of MCP and agentic capabilities across Oracle Fusion, AI Database, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting an organization transitioning to the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with OCI PaaS toolsets and DevOps tools such as Flexagon FlexDeploy and Opal IGA.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or security certifications.
• Experience in data center infrastructure or hirify.global’s Developer Platform, or an equivalent platform such as AWS.
