Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Orthopaedics)

Location: Hybrid role based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States

What you will do

• Support digital and manufacturing operations, including robotics, process development, manufacturing flow, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production engineering.
• Lead complex, multi-site, and cross-functional engineering projects, including project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Investigate nonconformances, complaints, audit observations, and corrective and preventive actions using root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Develop process validation strategies and execute engineering studies, qualification protocols, validation reports, and software and test method validation documentation.
• Lead process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma principles, measurement system analysis, gage implementation, and statistical analysis.
• Lead fixture, tool, and equipment design and acquisition, including specifications, installation, validation, training, and production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, procedures, process development, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production engineering.
• Ability to lead investigations, perform root cause analysis, solve complex process problems, and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong organizational, project management, troubleshooting, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Minitab, and Visio.
• Ability to work in the hybrid position based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements.
• Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification, including Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.
