Pricing Strategy and Planning Analyst III

Location: Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States; hybrid schedule with 4 days per week in-office and 1 day remote. Applicants must be able to work in or relocate to Fort Mill. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $95,000–$121,000 USD annually, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Conduct market research to assess market price positions and trends.
• Analyze product profitability, cost to serve, pocket margin, discounts, and profitability thresholds.
• Develop pricing recommendations and financial models to quantify revenue and profit impacts.
• Manage assigned parts segments in the pricing tool and maintain the aftermarket price book.
• Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders while collaborating with Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and external partners.
• Resolve pricing issues and identify improvements to pricing processes, policies, systems, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience performing quantitative analysis with large datasets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF statements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present recommendations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship and applications from existing visa holders are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with SQL, SAS, or STATA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
