Senior/Lead Site Reliability Engineer – Federal (AI)

Location: Tysons, Virginia, or Redwood City, California, United States. Travel to customer sites may be required up to 50%. US citizenship and authorization to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship are required.

Salary: $159,000–$230,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement customized hirify.global Platform installations for federal customers with specialized access and security requirements.
• Maximize system uptime and availability while meeting functional and performance SLAs.
• Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting for critical systems and services.
• Solve complex reliability issues and build automation to prevent recurring problems.
• Lead scripting and automation for system updates, upgrades, and deployment workflows.
• Configure infrastructure, tools, and frameworks while collaborating with Services and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Active US Government Security Secret clearance or higher is required; Top Secret or higher is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a comparable field.
• Experience deploying, managing, and operating scalable, fault-tolerant Kubernetes infrastructure in AWS and Azure; on-premise experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, databases, and cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Programming or scripting experience with Ruby, Bash, or Python, plus strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.

• On-premise Kubernetes deployment experience.
• DevOps or system administration experience supporting commercial SaaS solutions.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Top Secret or higher security clearance.
