What you will do

• Lead the Research Data Enablement Hub and execute the Research Data Domain Strategy.
• Define the research data vision, priorities, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish ownership, governance, usage rules, protection, quality, and lifecycle management for research data assets and products.
• Drive FAIR data maturity, standards adoption, reusable data products, and AI-ready research data.
• Partner with R&D Technology, Enterprise Data Strategy and Engineering, privacy, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Lead cross-subdomain decisions and organizational change through Subdomain Leads, Data Champions, and Data Stewards.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field and 5 years of significant relevant experience; or a master’s degree and 9 years; or a bachelor’s degree and 11 years.
• At least 5 years of direct people management or leadership experience directing teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Scientific data fluency and the ability to translate research objectives into data priorities and measurable business value.
• Experience with data governance, data ownership, data quality, standards, risk, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build trusted relationships, make prioritization decisions, resolve complex cross-domain issues, and lead through organizational change.
• Deep understanding of drug discovery, preclinical development, and at least one research data type such as genetics, biologics, small molecules, or assays.
