AltaGas - Sr. Team Lead, Project Controls

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop project controls professionals across cost, planning, risk, and change management.
• Design and implement project controls processes, workflows, standards, and continuous improvement practices across the project lifecycle.
• Deploy innovative digital and AI-enabled tools to improve project performance, insights, and decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, cost control, and performance reporting.
• Direct estimate development, schedule baselines, progress tracking, schedule risk analysis, and change control.
• Partner with project managers, engineering, construction, commercial teams, and senior leadership on governance, stage gates, assurance reviews, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of project controls experience on large-scale capital or major projects, including team leadership and direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, earned value management, AACE estimate classifications, scheduling, risk management, and change management.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Proven ability to implement new tools, technologies, process improvements, and digital or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership skills.
