What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple GIS workstreams supporting the organization’s land management roadmap.
- Oversee GIS datasets, spatial workflows, web layers, maps, dashboards, and enterprise GIS platform deliverables.
- Manage schedules, milestones, scope, dependencies, risks, vendors, and delivery status reporting.
- Review technical delivery plans covering data integration, validation, publishing, and release activities.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure deliverables meet business, quality, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate GIS delivery between land management, environmental, design, technical, and external partner teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering, Planning, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 20 years of experience in GIS, spatial data, or data-driven delivery environments.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Program Manager.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, portal environments, web services, enterprise geodatabases, and spatial data integration.
- Experience with GIS publishing and release lifecycles, multi-vendor delivery models, and coordination across multiple teams.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with land programs involving property, temporary easements, land acquisition, corridors, environmental considerations, or title and ownership reconciliation.
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or transportation programs.
- Previous GIS Delivery Manager or GIS Program Lead experience.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance practices.
