Production Control Planner 2 - Machining

What you will do

• Oversee the daily creation of planning, build-plan, maintenance, and production-control reports.
• Enter and upload maintenance details for items and work orders.
• Support short-term production schedules covering 0–4 weeks and help achieve on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Analyze capacity plans and material requirements, advising Sales about potential order push-outs.
• Coordinate material status and production-planning issues with manufacturing and purchasing personnel.
• Approve and implement schedule deviations and engineering change notices.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, and MRP/ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve practical problems in changing situations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
