Wknd Coating Operator - Day Shift (Adhesive Coating)

Specialty materials manufacturer producing engineered components and solutions for filtration, healthcare, sustainable packaging, and other applications.

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating machines, including both wet and dry ends, to apply adhesives to release liners and substrates.
• Prepare adhesives, solvents, additives, liners, and other raw materials for production.
• Adjust pressure, tension, temperature, line speed, and other machine parameters to meet process specifications.
• Perform machine cleaning, changeovers, basic maintenance, equipment fine-tuning, and workstation organization.
• Inspect materials and adhesive coatings for defects, monitor product quality, and report non-conformances or machine malfunctions.
• Record job and inventory data, communicate shift activities, train operators and assistants, and support housekeeping and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math and reading skills, mechanical aptitude, and accurate use of measuring instruments.
• Computer skills for data entry; knowledge of ERP systems is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and safely handle pumps, cartons, products, lift trucks, hoists, and platform trucks.
• Ability to maintain product quality within run and process sheet specifications.
