Principal Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote work-from-home role associated with Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $146,700–$272,400 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead strategic vendor relationship management programs for Information Security.
• Drive security integration programs for mergers and acquisitions.
• Establish governance frameworks and manage strategic security partnerships with key suppliers.
• Oversee cybersecurity due diligence and post-acquisition security integration activities.
• Coordinate with Information Security, business leaders, Procurement, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Development, and external partners.
• Present risk assessments and strategic recommendations to executives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of business experience involving the full software development lifecycle, or a technical certification and 9 years of such experience, or 10 years of such experience.
• Experience managing cybersecurity vendors, governance, and strategic partnerships.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity due diligence and M&A integration activities.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills focused on risk and strategic recommendations.
• Experience with project and timekeeping systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT.

Nice to have

• Intermediate independent cybersecurity certification such as CISM, CISSP, Security+, GIAC, or equivalent.
