HR Generalist (Bilingual Spanish)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; travel to different sites and locations as needed

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, retention, training, performance management, and HR compliance activities.
• Coach managers on employee relations, discipline, performance improvement plans, separations, and company and collective bargaining agreement policies.
• Investigate employee relations issues and grievances, participate in personnel hearings, and conduct voluntary exit interviews.
• Manage personnel transactions, employee records, government reporting, separation notices, RIF documentation, and departmental reports.
• Partner with managers and finance on pay activities, annual wage reviews, and compensation changes.
• Visit sites, support engagement initiatives, train site management, and manage HR projects across assigned divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
• Experience in both union and non-union environments.
• Knowledge of HR legal requirements, government reporting, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
• A valid driver’s license and compliance with SBM Driver Approval requirements may be required.
