Infrastructure Superintendent (Data Center Construction)

Location: On-site in Vaasa, Finland

What you will do

• Report to the Senior Project Manager and act as the Employer’s Representative for project delivery.
• Support construction, fit-out, commissioning, and handover with a site-based project team.
• Lead early infrastructure works, including on-site roads, loading areas, laydown areas, logistics, welfare facilities, and off-site road infrastructure.
• Coordinate transport interfaces, municipal works, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Supervise civil works vendors, contractors, and FTE resources, including proposals, bidding, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with project KPIs, data center development standards, laws, regulations, and building codes.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of recent construction management experience on large, complex civil works projects.
• Experience with ground improvement, deep foundations, rock blasting, and utility services.
• Understanding of HV/MV power transmission systems, CSA and MEP engineering principles, and statutory requirements.
• General contractor and vendor management experience, including requests for proposals, bidding, and change orders.
• Experience with international projects, design management, project management, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• More than five years of industrial or data center construction experience.
• Experience working in culturally diverse and inclusive large-scale program environments.
