Head of Fintech Partnerships (Web3)

Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, with office attendance 2–3 times per week. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Base salary: up to $250,000 per year, plus stock options and an annual cash performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own the US banking and payment processor partner network, including performance, pricing, redundancy, and fallback routing.
• Manage relationships with stablecoin issuers and yield providers while evaluating custody and settlement partners.
• Translate product ambitions into partner specifications and service-level agreements in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Lead negotiations with banks, processors, and technology vendors to improve pricing, exclusivity, margins, and long-term strategic value.
• Source and assess infrastructure vendors for credit and lending products, ensuring technical integration and compliance alignment.
• Build partnerships playbooks and processes, then hire and develop a team of 2–3 partnership managers.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of US payment rails, including ACH, RTP, and card networks, plus familiarity with stablecoin and crypto-native infrastructure.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with banks, payment processors, and technology vendors.
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams on roadmaps and architectural reviews.
• Bias for action and the ability to build structure in a resource-constrained, hyper-growth startup environment.
• Prior people-management experience or clear readiness to take on a leadership role.
