System Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Sala Al Jadida, Morocco; remote work and flexible hours are offered.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain system models for advanced energy systems and electrified powertrain applications.
• Run dynamic and steady-state simulations to evaluate system behavior and performance.
• Perform heat, mass, and energy balance calculations for system design and optimization.
• Parameterize, calibrate, and validate models using test and supplier data.
• Analyze operating profiles and provide performance studies and technical recommendations to system architecture and engineering teams.
• Prepare technical reports and present simulation results to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
• Experience modeling and simulating thermo-fluid, energy, battery, fuel cell, hydrogen, or automotive systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and energy systems.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, hirify.global CRUISE M, GT-SUITE, Amesim, or equivalent system simulation tools.
• Experience with dynamic and steady-state modeling, parameterization, calibration, and correlation with test data.
• Strong English communication skills in an international engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MBSE/SysML.
• Python or MATLAB scripting experience.
• Experience with fuel cell, hydrogen, battery, or thermal management systems.
