Director of Systems Engineering, Integration & Testing (SEIT)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States. This is an onsite professional office role. Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements, and eligibility for a U.S. DoD security clearance is required.

What you will do

• Establish and lead the SEIT strategy, operating model, workflows, policies, and technical standards across programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary systems engineering, architecture, integration, test, verification, validation, and specialty engineering teams.
• Oversee requirements analysis, allocation, traceability, configuration management, change control, and system architecture development.
• Direct integration and test planning, readiness assessments, hardware/software integration, CEVT activities, and customer acceptance events.
• Lead major technical reviews, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and TIMs, while ensuring compliant engineering artifacts.
• Support proposals, program start-up, customer reviews, audits, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor of Science degree, or 10+ years with a Master of Science degree, in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience overseeing systems architecture, verification and validation, system/subsystem integration, software development, hardware/software integration, and product testing.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and integrated product teams in complex systems-software-hardware environments.
• Expertise in systems engineering standards, requirements management, configuration management, MBSE, and integration/test frameworks.
• Strong communication, negotiation, team-building, decision-making, delegation, and organizational change leadership skills.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. DoD security clearance are required. Ability to travel as needed is also required.

• Previous experience as a Systems Engineering Manager.
• Master’s degree in systems engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense sector.
