Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role in Tacoma, Washington, United States

Base salary: $135,400–$201,850 annually, plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, reliable cloud-hosted data ingestion, transformation, normalization, and persistence pipelines.
• Build extensible low-code/no-code integration frameworks for customer and partner asset sources.
• Lead cross-functional and global engineering collaboration on reusable platform components.
• Apply agentic and AI platforms across design, development, QA, automation, deployment, observability, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Build and productize MCP servers, agents, sub-agents, and skills for core product capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership for scalable software architecture and collaborate with Product Management and Marketing on roadmap and documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with Go, Java, C++, or C.
• 8+ years building large-scale SaaS network management, ETL, asset management, or data-pipeline systems.
• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, APIs, data modeling, and system architecture.
• Understanding of relational, time-series, NoSQL, and graph databases, plus performance engineering and production incident resolution.
• Hands-on experience with agentic and AI-driven frameworks, including agents, sub-agents, MCP servers, and skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of switching, routing, security, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, CTEM, CAASM, or ITSM.
• Experience with no-code/low-code remediation, data transformation, ETL, or asset insights.
• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
