IT & Security Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. Relocation support is available.

Salary: $106,529–$114,555 per year.

What you will do

• Own identity, endpoints, AWS cloud infrastructure, networks, detection and response, logging, and compliance controls.
• Build internal tooling and automation, including infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Manage Entra ID authentication, conditional access, SSO, SCIM, groups, roles, and privileged access.
• Operate Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender XDR, including endpoint compliance, detection tuning, hunting, and incident triage.
• Drive CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, and ITAR technical controls and continuously generated audit evidence.
• Manage Linux systems, vulnerabilities, on-premises networking, incident response, and postmortems.

Requirements

• Six-plus years of experience across IT operations, infrastructure, or security engineering, including at least two years owning production systems.
• Experience taking unfamiliar problems through to finished solutions and owning production code in Python, TypeScript, Go, or a similar language.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience and strong Linux platform management skills.
• Experience designing identity and access models in Entra ID or an equivalent platform.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security-relevant ownership, on-premises network architecture, and implementation.
• Must work on-site in Broomfield, Colorado, and meet U.S. Person and U.S. employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in GCCH.
• SIEM, EDR, detection engineering, threat hunting, or incident response experience.
• Exposure to CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, or ITAR.
• Intune fleet management across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience on a small infrastructure or security team with independently defined scope.
