IC Operations Manager (Pharmaceutical Fulfillment)

What you will do

• Own inventory control and inbound operations, including receiving, inspection, stowing, reconciliation, cycle counting, and audits.
• Ensure pharmaceutical product integrity, lot traceability, expiration and beyond-use-date control, and chain of custody.
• Maintain SOX inventory compliance, conduct quarterly counts, and manage counting schedules.
• Provide pharmacist oversight for purity checks, Certificates of Analysis, pharmacy workflows, quality audits, and controlled-product handling when applicable.
• Lead salaried area managers and up to 30 hourly associates, including hiring, scheduling, coaching, and development.
• Drive lean process improvements, investigate root causes, monitor KPIs, and deliver corrective and preventive actions and strategic reports.

Requirements

• Active pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD) in good standing required.
• Thorough knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, including conducting or overseeing SOX counts.
• Knowledge of state pharmacy regulations, DEA and controlled-substance handling, Good Distribution Practices, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, risk-management, and process-improvement skills.
• Experience leading salaried managers and hourly associates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical operations, logistics, inventory control, fulfillment, or distribution centers.
• Experience training or supervising pharmacy technicians.
• Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Interest in people management, scheduling, and team leadership.
