Certification Program Manager

Location: Remote, AMER

Salary: USD 188,000–212,000 for premium US markets; USD 169,000–190,000 for general US markets annually.

What you will do

• Own and expand the ClickHouse certification program.
• Develop hands-on, performance-based certification exams covering real-time analytics, observability, and data warehousing.
• Create job task analyses, quizzes, grading scripts, and course-completion credentials with company subject-matter experts.
• Maintain certification exams and coordinate delivery with certification and badging vendors.
• Build a community for ClickHouse-certified professionals through social media, user conferences, and Meetups.
• Track certification KPIs and support learners pursuing credentials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical software certification.
• Proven experience developing certification exams and quizzes for software engineers and database developers.
• Experience with SQL and strong technical knowledge of databases, OLAP, cloud or SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and big data.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, support, product, development, marketing, and sales teams.
• Excellent communication skills, ownership, accountability, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Remote work based in the AMER region.

Nice to have

• Experience with curriculum development or instruction for databases or distributed systems.
• Experience with ClickHouse and one or more cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience building software certification exams.
• Technical degree in Computer Science or a related field.
