Technical Project Manager (SAP Deployment)

Location: Remote; travel to BFS field locations is required as deployment activities demand.

Salary: $100,200–$167,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain deployment plans for SAP deployment waves and locations, coordinating pre-deployment, readiness, cutover, go-live, Hypercare, and transition-to-support activities.
• Coordinate technical readiness across SAP environments, access and security, deployment data, devices, infrastructure, connectivity, interfaces, training environments, and support tools.
• Coordinate production cutover and go-live activities, checkpoints, escalation discussions, owners, blockers, and dependencies across field, business, technical, and project teams.
• Drive incident triage and escalation during Hypercare, using ServiceNow and support teams to track issues through resolution and transition to steady-state support.
• Translate field operational issues and technical information into clear business impact for site leaders, field teams, and deployment leadership.
• Lead team readiness and SAP functional training, coach end-user support, and reinforce standard BFS Way processes instead of unsupported local workarounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, or comparable professional experience.
• 5+ years of technical project management, ERP deployment, IT implementation, or comparable large-scale transformation experience.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations, ERP deployments, or multi-site enterprise technology rollouts.
• Ability to manage multiple sites, workstreams, dependencies, risks, and technical teams concurrently.
• Ability to translate between technical teams and nontechnical field or business users.
• Experience working in high-pressure go-live or production-support environments.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to travel to BFS field locations as required by deployment activities.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA deployment experience.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-location ERP implementations.
• SAP functional knowledge in one or more areas relevant to BFS.
• Cutover and Hypercare experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, distribution, supply-chain, or building-material operations.
• Experience coordinating internal teams, systems integrators, and third-party field-support partners.
