Senior Project Manager (Oracle Cloud)

Location: Remote, United States only; candidates must be physically based in the US and authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. Offshore candidates are not eligible.

Base salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year, plus a performance-based annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional, interdepartmental teams through complex Oracle Cloud migrations, ERP upgrades and patching, managed services transitions, and modernization roadmaps.
• Define project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and governance processes.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, resource plans, burn rates, profitability, change requests, and corrective actions.
• Maintain RAID logs, assess risks and issues, and provide mitigation recommendations to steering committees and executive sponsors.
• Serve as the primary liaison among client leadership, internal delivery teams, and third-party software vendors; manage escalations, scope negotiations, and change controls.
• Support sales and marketing with project retrospectives, scope definition, technical context, and account expansion input.

Requirements

• Active PMP certification required.
• At least 7 years of dedicated project management experience in enterprise IT services, systems integration, or management consulting.
• Direct experience managing projects involving Oracle technologies such as OCI, Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, PeopleSoft, EBS, or higher-education Banner environments.
• Practical understanding of cloud migration patterns, infrastructure cutovers, and enterprise ERP maintenance and upgrade cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Exceptional executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate matrixed, distributed technical teams without formal direct-line authority.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills in fast-paced client services environments.
