What you will do

  • Design and deliver dashboards, visualizations, reports, self-service tools, and advanced analytics solutions for pharmacy and pharmaceutical services.
  • Analyze healthcare data from Epic, Omnicell, wholesaler systems, and other pharmacy platforms to improve medication safety, operations, patient outcomes, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate clinical, operational, financial, and executive stakeholder needs into scalable analytics solutions.
  • Design data loads, data models, databases, and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data across on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Lead dashboard design, data warehouse development, testing, maintenance, refresh activities, and data governance initiatives.
  • Serve as a bridge between pharmacy operations and enterprise analytics teams while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmacy Education.
  • At least four years of combined experience in pharmacy practice, information systems support, or application development.
  • Tennessee pharmacy licensure is required; candidates licensed in another state must obtain a Tennessee Pharmacy License within four months of employment.
  • Experience with programming or querying languages, data modeling, reporting, metrics creation, data warehouses, and enterprise reporting or visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of data analytics processes, data architecture, data integration, databases, data flow pipelines, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis, communicate with diverse stakeholders, develop requirements, and work across scrum teams and contractors.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree or PGY1/PGY2 pharmacy residency training.
  • Experience with Epic data, Epic Caboodle and Cogito certifications, MS SQL, Epic Willow, or Omnicell.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, data warehousing applications, and dashboard development.
  • Two years of pharmacy practice experience at St. Jude or a comparable institution.
