IT Data Analyst Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Support the development of an enterprise data catalog by profiling datasets, documenting business definitions, and labeling data for people and AI models.
• Engineer and test features that improve machine learning and AI model accuracy.
• Support data and AI use cases across Finance, Service, and Supply Chain.
• Design and test prompts for AI agents such as Claude Cowork.
• Evaluate AI responses and identify failure cases.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with at least two data science tools or methods, such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, SPSS, or data mining.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Brea, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vector databases or semantic search.
• Experience with data catalog or data governance tools such as Collibra or Atlan.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure tools.
