Data Analytics Intern (Spring 2027, Full-time Hours)

Location: Hybrid in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; in-office Tuesday through Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday.

Salary: $22–$25 per hour, plus an intern allowance that may offset relocation, housing, parking, transit, and mileage costs.

What you will do

• Support the migration of global finance systems to US-based systems.
• Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights through systems mapping and data flow exercises.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, visualization, predictive modeling support, and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics and finance transformation initiatives.
• Support business analysis, financial workflow analysis, and project planning.
• Build practical experience with finance technologies, enterprise data practices, and AI use cases.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, or another IT-related field; the degree must not be completed before the internship ends.
• Strong interest in financial systems, data analysis, automation, and process improvement.
• Basic to intermediate experience with Excel and SQL.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Prior relevant internship experience or an interest in IT.
• Exposure to Python, Alteryx, AI, cloud technologies, data science, or machine learning.
