Data Analytics Intern - Summer 2027 (Aviation)

What you will do

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends and communicate findings through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Support requirements gathering, development, testing, validation, and delivery of data products.
• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines, data transformations, and Power BI dashboards.
• Support monthly and ad-hoc financial and operational reporting for the finance team.
• Work collaboratively with agile practices, version control systems, documentation standards, and project management tools.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency in data wrangling and transformation using SQL and related tools.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to work onsite at the Carmel headquarters.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
• Programming skills in R or Python.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
• Familiarity with corporate financial statements and basic accounting methods.
• Experience with code repository tools and agile development methodology.
