What you will do

• Develop, optimize, validate, and standardize tissue-based histopathology assays using FFPE samples.
• Apply single-plex and multiplex immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and immunofluorescence methods.
• Generate, analyze, and interpret tissue-based data using imaging modalities and digital pathology tools.
• Support target qualification, pharmacodynamic and efficacy assessments, preclinical model development, toxicity assessments, and biomarker discovery.
• Collaborate with pathologists, research investigators, and translational teams across therapeutic areas.
• Document results in laboratory information systems and databases and communicate findings through presentations.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant research and industry experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant research and industry experience.
• Degree in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with pathology-based methods including IHC, multiplex IHC, ISH, and immunofluorescence imaging.
• Experience analyzing H&E, IHC, multiplex immunofluorescence, and/or spatial transcriptomics data.
• Understanding of machine-learning methods for image segmentation, classification, detection, and representation learning.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary scientific environments.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of molecular pathology experience, preferably in an industry setting.
• Experience with HALO or Visiopharm digital pathology and image-analysis platforms.
• Experience with automated staining platforms such as Ventana, Leica Bond, or IntelliPATH.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
