Sourcing Specialist (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support strategic sourcing activities for assigned commodities, including steering wheels and safety nets.
• Execute RFQ activities, evaluate supplier capabilities, support negotiations, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships and support supplier development, localization, capacity planning, and risk reduction.
• Maintain the Master Price List and process supplier price updates for the CAB team.
• Collaborate with Materials, Production Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functions on sourcing decisions and new product launches.
• Support tooling activities, tariff mitigation, total cost analysis, production continuity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, pricing activities, and deadlines.
• Knowledge of analytical tools, ERP systems, and web-based business systems.

Nice to have

• Degree in Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Background in Materials Planning, Production Planning, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
• Interest or experience in automotive, powersports, engines, or manufacturing environments.
