Principal Technical Manufacturing Architect (Smart Factory)

Location: Remote, Washington, United States. Remote employees cannot be located in AL, AK, AR, DE, GA, HI, IL, IA, KY, LA, ME, MD, MS, MO, NE, NV, NJ, NM, ND, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, WV, WI, or WY.

Salary: $155,900–$204,645 per year. The Seattle range depends on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Design and lead scalable smart factory architectures using INFICON FPS Factory Digital Twin technology.
• Visualize and simulate real-time factory conditions in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Design and execute ETL pipelines from PROMIS MES, XSite, equipment systems, and manufacturing databases into the FPS Data Warehouse.
• Configure, implement, support, upgrade, and tune PROMIS MES applications.
• Resolve complex issues in high-availability, production-critical fab environments.
• Drive automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in manufacturing systems and reporting platforms.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 12+ years with a master's degree, 8+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing systems, factory automation, and senior architectural or technical responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with INFICON FPS Digital Twin, factory scheduling systems, manufacturing reporting platforms, and equipment maintenance management systems.
• Deep PROMIS MES expertise, including flows, steps, branching, routing logic, system parameters, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Strong ETL, data integration, database management, and SQL skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
