Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and develop Java-based payment services using Spring Boot, JPA, PostgreSQL, Oracle, OpenShift, and related enterprise technologies.
• Build event-driven workflows and integration services with Kafka, Apache Camel, business rules engines, and scheduled batch processing.
• Develop independently deployable React, Next.js, and TypeScript micro-frontends and own OAuth2/OIDC identity flows with Okta.
• Define AWS IAM, S3, CloudFront, deployment, and cloud modernization standards across environments.
• Design performance testing strategies, identify bottlenecks, and improve scalability across legacy and cloud-native systems.
• Drive test-driven development, continuous testing, CI/CD automation, code reviews, and architecture planning across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily with Java.
• Strong experience with relational databases, including Oracle and/or PostgreSQL, and containerized environments such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Spring Boot/JPA, Kafka, integration frameworks, domain-driven design, authorization architecture, and cloud infrastructure governance.
• Experience with modern frontend systems, micro-frontends, OAuth2/OIDC, token validation, and session or revocation design.
• At least one enterprise-level performance testing engagement, including strategy definition, tooling, execution, and presenting findings.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional specialized training and technology experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with PGLogical or PostgreSQL logical replication.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Previous work on bank or card network integration programs.
• Experience in segregated or air-gapped development environments.
