Enterprise Data Analyst Senior (SQL/Python)

Location: Hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home in Buffalo, NY; Bridgeport, CT; or Wilmington, DE, United States.

Salary: $103,000–$171,600 annual USD.

What you will do

• Identify authoritative data sources and query complex databases to support internal projects and products.
• Wrangle, analyze, and connect complex data sets across platforms and formats using SQL and Python.
• Document data flows, mappings, specifications, and enterprise-level data solutions for multiple business use cases.
• Design and execute end-to-end test plans and scripts for complex data products and user stories.
• Translate business data needs into source-to-target mappings and data mock-ups for data engineering teams.
• Perform root-cause and impact analysis, communicate findings to stakeholders, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience pulling data from SQL platforms and querying data modeled in different techniques, including slowly changing dimensions, snapshots, key-value pairs, normalized tables, and wide tables.
• Experience with user acceptance testing for data products.
• Knowledge of data management, data cataloging, data lineage, and source-to-target mappings across full-load and change-data-capture patterns.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule with four days in an office in Buffalo, Bridgeport, or Wilmington.

• Advanced SQL and data management skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams and leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with data governance tools, data classification, privacy, statistics, and data science techniques.
• Knowledge of assigned domain products, systems, and workflows.
