Investment Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Columbus, Ohio — One hirify.global Plaza; must reside within 35 miles. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with flexibility to come in 4 days.

Salary: $100,000–$168,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain investment data models, curated datasets, semantic models, data products, and scalable cloud data pipelines.
• Develop Snowflake- and Databricks-based data warehouse or lakehouse solutions using SQL, Python, OpenFlow, Spark, or comparable technologies.
• Create and support Power BI and Business Objects reports, dashboards, universes, scheduled distributions, measures, and reporting layers.
• Profile, reconcile, validate, monitor, and troubleshoot investment data, including exception handling, data-quality controls, lineage, and operational remediation.
• Partner with business users, Technology, architects, vendors, and governance teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions and coordinate UAT and releases.
• Evaluate practical AI and machine learning use cases, including generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent automation, and natural-language data interaction.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in data management, data standards, analytics, or related practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, relational data concepts, data modeling, data warehousing, data transformation, and data validation.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks in an enterprise data environment and with cloud data architecture, integration, orchestration, and processing.
• Experience developing or supporting Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, or comparable enterprise reporting and visualization solutions.
• Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages, semantic models, reusable datasets, measures, data governance, security, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD.
• Must reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza in Columbus, Ohio. Employer-sponsored work authorization is not available, and the role does not qualify for the STEM OPT extension.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment management, asset management, insurance, financial services, or other data-intensive processes.
• Experience with OpenFlow, Snowflake AI products such as Cortex Code or Cortex Analyst, enterprise data products, data dictionaries, or reporting centers of excellence.
• Graduate studies or certifications in computer science, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
